Overview
Trowell House of Georgia, Inc. invites individuals and emerging leaders to apply for our prestigious Internship Program. Designed to offer real-world, on-the-job nonprofit experience (OJT), this internship immerses participants in meaningful, community-driven work while building essential professional skills under the mentorship of seasoned executives.

Internship Goals

Provide hands-on nonprofit training
Cultivate future candidates for our Resource Advocacy Coordinator (RAC) Apprenticeship
Deliver skill-building workshops on business operations, entrepreneurship, and public service
Support organizational growth across five Trowell Houses: Mammoth, Eagle, Stallion, Lion, and Stingray

Program Structure

Duration: Continuous
Hours: Flexible, 10–20 hours/week
Location: Hybrid (Albany, GA + Remote)

Core Activities

Administrative and client service support
Community outreach and intake assistance
Participation in workshops led by Trowell House executives
Contributions to marketing, and operations

Financial Literacy & Business Acumen

Eligibility Requirements

Currently enrolled or recently graduated from college/university
Demonstrated interest in nonprofit leadership, business, or community work
Strong communication and organizational skills

Our Goal for 2025-2026:

Hire 20 paid positions through our five-House model, fostering a four-member leadership hierarchy per House with above-average wages.
