Overview
Trowell House of Georgia, Inc. invites individuals and emerging leaders to apply for our prestigious Internship Program. Designed to offer real-world, on-the-job nonprofit experience (OJT), this internship immerses participants in meaningful, community-driven work while building essential professional skills under the mentorship of seasoned executives.

Internship Goals

  • Provide hands-on nonprofit training
  • Cultivate future candidates for our future Resource Advocacy Coordinator (RAC) Apprenticeship 
  • Deliver skill-building workshops on business operations, entrepreneurship, and public service
  • Support organizational growth across five Trowell Houses: Mammoth, Eagle, Stallion, Lion, and Stingray

Program Structure

  • Duration: Continuous
  • Hours: Flexible, 10–20 hours/week
  • Location: Hybrid (Albany, GA + Remote)

Core Activities

  • Administrative and client service support
  • Community outreach and intake assistance
  • Participation in workshops led by Trowell House executives
  • Contributions to marketing, and operations

Workshops & Trainings Include:

  • Nonprofit Operations & Mission Building
  • Public Speaking & Professional Etiquette
  • Financial Literacy & Business Acumen

Eligibility Requirements

  • Currently enrolled or recently graduated from college/university
  • Demonstrated interest in nonprofit leadership, business, or community work
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
